Speaking during the July 21 South Carolina Health Planning Committee, Sen. Mike Rose asks why South Carolinians can’t have more control over their health insurance purchasing decisions?

Will Shrader, a senior vice president with BlueCross and BlueShield of S.C., responds, “Why not eliminate all the laws in a state that make it more restrictive than any other state?” To which Rose says: “I would ask that question, too.”
