O’Dell: Government Can’t Be Run Like a Business

The idea of running government like a business is an unrealistic one, State Sen. Billy O’Dell tells a Dutch Fork High class.

Government was created to work for the people, but it’s almost impossible to run government as efficiently as a business because government requires the consensus of dozens and dozens of individuals, O’Dell says.
