The NerveS.C. Agriculture Commissioner Hugh Weathers requests an interim adjustment of a little more than $600,000 from the Joint Other Funds Oversight Committee during an Oct. 5 meeting.

The funding will go toward alternative energy projects such as anaerobic digestion of poultry waste for conversion to electricity and assisting with Clemson’s efforts to utilize switchgrass as a biofuel, Weathers said.
