  • Kim Murphy is a true hero with what she does. I know Kim personally and what she does is good for the citizens and children of her county. Anytime money is involved where there is about to be exposure, scrambling to "keep it hushed" always happens. Keep up the good work Kim.

  • What a surprise - District 5 is sending its legal pit bulls after Kim Murphy. They know that if they can scare her, force her to fork over a bunch of money in legal fees, take up a bunch of her time, etc., there's a much better chance she'll drop her appeal.

What a bunch of scoundrels we have running District 5.

  • Kim Murphy is wrong on this one. She has and will continue to cost the taxpayers of District 5 thousands of $$. Chapin needs to renovations NOW! I can not believe that hate the Administration and School Board so badly that they will make the students meet in portables and crowed classrooms. Thanks Kim.

  • Chapin may need renovations, but District 5 needs to be upfront with what's going with their renovation plans. Kim is at least trying to hold the district accountable. She's not the one who has changed the renovation plans without letting the public know. She's not the one who's being secretive with future plans for Chapin High and other schools in the district. She's not the one who tells the public one thing and turns around does the exact opposite.

"Thanks, Kim" is right; Thanks for making the effort to hold the folks who were able to get a $243 million bond referendum passed accountable for what they do with the money. Maybe you trust the folks leading District 5, but I don't.
